METHOSA 1990 SET DONATES TO ALMA MATER

The donated 60Leaves Exercise Books

The 1990 Set of Methodist High School Old Students Association, METHOSA, recently donated about 5,000 copies of 60Leaves Exercise Books to Methodist High School, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. 

Members of the 1990 Set deemed it fit among other things, to support the students with some basic things that they required.

The donation was part of the projects earmarked to mark the 35th anniversary of the Set.

“It is our belief that this gesture will provide some reliefs to parents and guardians who are struggling to get the required notebooks for their wards.” Mrs Bimpe Dosunmu, who presented the books to school on behalf of the 1990 Set explained. 

 “It is our hope that the beneficiaries of these notebooks will endeavor to make the most of it. We expect that these books will be maintained and maximally utilized for the benefit of all.”

We are thrilled to be donating these with more plans for the growth and development of our alma mater.” The Senior Prefect of the 1990 Set, Alhaji AbdulSabur  Ajani stated.

 “Our goal is to reduce the burden of parents and guardians as well as continuously improve conducive learning environment for staff and students.” Another prominent member, Alhaja Afusat Olatoye nee Salami concluded.

The staff and students  expressed their appreciation and commended the 1990 Set for their very thoughtful and timely donations. The general METHOSA Executives led by the President,  Meth. Ismail Sonola, also thanked the 1990 Set for their kind gestures.
