Dear Friends, Family, and Well-Wishers,

On May the 17th, 2025, we will be celebrating a truly special milestone: the 70th birthday of our beloved father, husband, friend, mentor, and guiding light — Prince Olusina Olubunmi Oduko.

Anyone who knows him will agree: he is a rare and extraordinary soul. A man of deep intelligence, foresight, unwavering generosity, and genuine kindness, he has spent a lifetime quietly uplifting others. Whether through a word of encouragement, a helping hand, or an opportunity created, he has consistently made a profound difference in the lives of so many — often without seeking recognition or thanks.

As a proud Prince of Ibefun, (Omo’ba, omo erin j’ogun ola) of the Olufowodu Ruling Family, Ibefun, Nigeria, he has carried his heritage with great humility and a deep sense of responsibility, using his gifts not for self-promotion, but for service. His life has been marked by a steadfast commitment to education, empowerment, and well being for all — regardless of background or circumstance.

One of the key passions that has driven him throughout his life is his deep interest in computing and technology. He believes that with the right tools and resources, technology has the incredible potential to transform lives, make daily challenges easier to overcome, and bring people closer to the solutions they need. This vision has been a guiding principle in his philanthropic efforts, ensuring that innovation works for the benefit of all.

In his long history, apart from technology, he has also been a teacher, a chemist, consultant, telecom provider (TELCO), Internet Services Provider (ISP), headed construction projects, sourced equipment and technology transfer (foundry for Federal Republic of Nigeria), While on contract Service with The EU Delegation to the UK in London, helped repurpose disused equipment for the less advantaged in Nigeria(please click to go to the relevant EU site)

Rather than celebrating this milestone with a grand party, our dad has chosen a different, and deeply meaningful path: one that continues his legacy of giving back through the power of technology.

He invites us all to join him in supporting two of the causes that are especially dear to his heart:

  • It offers top-class learning materials from primary to postgraduate levels, tailored to suit different institutions.
  • His dream is to continue to equip schools and learning centers across Nigeria with these resources, either free of charge or at highly subsidized rates, ensuring that no student is left behind due to cost, lack of access, or connectivity issues.
  • Versions include include of the elibrary include nursery/ primary, secondary and tertiary education (Bible College, Medical College versions. There is also the NOMAD edition. This is for such people in the Internally Displaced camps.

E-Library Project (users do not have to pay for internet charges). Understanding the barriers many Nigerian students face in accessing quality education, Prince Olusina has harnessed technology to create an offline e-library — a curated collection of textbooks, videos, and educational resources that can be accessed without the need for expensive internet data.

Virtual Medical Consultations (Wellness NGR)
Leveraging the power of digital connectivity, he has also pioneered a system to enable medical advice and consultations via WhatsApp, (this is similar to the UK’s Econsult The wellness NGR however is optimised for Whatsapp as it is common with Nigerians). This is bridging the gap between communities and healthcare professionals. This initiative is particularly impactful for those in remote or under – served areas, where distance, time, and cost are significant barriers to accessing healthcare services. Users do not have to go to the hospital for consultation as doctors can always attend to them via the WhatsApp
.
